Why do YOU play MapleStory?
So I'm currently bored, (supposed to write an essay) and I'm wondering why YOU play maplestory.
My reason: I like RPG's cuz they give me a sense of achievement, and cool friends i like to hang out with. (guildies and such, ex. Fatal, Intrepid, Dunedain) I also have a lot of time on my hands since college is boring....

I play to make time during school seem faster, make new friends, feel achievements, and learn to manage time wisely.
Presonally speaking because i like to talk/discuss to ignorant people, who think they are so cool

me => umm i am pretty sure your the one who is dumb, because you cant see my skin color its tanned/brown not black
him=> same thing black or brown they are all the same
me=> that means your a r3tarded Asian ( i am part Asian)
him=> no i am white
me=> yellow or white they are all the same
him=> wow your so dumb you don't now what your talking about
so yeh i just play to actually laugh at these people, they also say you "mad bro"? when literally they are the one who is mad because they cant come up with more comebacks,so they start talking about your mum or your character
because it's fun?
Because when I'm at a party and a girl starts talking to me, she asks "Hey, what's your major" in her drunken state. I usually tell them, "I don't have one, I just play Maplestory, acquire currency and disregard women." That usually gets her right in my pants. True story...
Bored, friends, contacts, for fun, what else?
I get to help people out. Whether it be quests, leveling, saving an fm spot, I like to help. It's also fun meeting great new people.

The variety and complexity of the game offers you. The community is alright though, there are some nasty and delightful players out there.

Why do I play MapleStory?
I don't. Maple plays me.
