Right when the sheriff said that, i knew it isn't a keylogger. UNLESS....
"Giveaway of the Day" is a site that links to free versions of commercial software provided by the companies for promotional purposes. I got the registered version of BandiCam from them a couple of years ago, and today's is the "PlayClaw" screen video capture program.
If you use the "Web of Truth" link on the Basilmarket page when you click the link, you'll see that the site has an "Excellent" reputation.
@Engage I read some of the reviews on the GiveAway page, and it looks like this one (PlayClaw) may have an edge over fraps in a few areas, IF you have a multi-core CPU, and depending on exactly what you're capturing. One review indicated it compresses the video a bit better than fraps does, so the video files are a bit smaller than fraps files (although that's usually not an issue since most people will end up editing and recompressing the videos anyway).
Bottom line is it's probably worth having this one AND fraps, just in case one or the other doesn't work well with the game you're trying to capture.
(Haven't had a chance to try it with Maplestory yet.)

Biggest question, is it free?
Use OBS. Better multicore and automatic streaming to twitch if you use it.
@Engage: Though i am not good at video recording, due the comments i suggest looking at comment 13. My apologies
