Maplestory not opening
Hey guys! I've been having a problem with Maplestory that started ever since the new SAO update came out. I would log into the website and click play and the Maplestory popup would come and ask if I want to allow it which I always check yes. Now usually, this is when the game starts but recently, it just refuses to open... I even went into computer > nexon > maplestory exe > run as administrator but that never works either. The same thing happens with the gamelauncher as I just click play and Maplestory stil refuses to open... Help guys

I'm having the same problem. I really hope someone finds a solution!
Perhaps re-install Maplestory and do a virus scan on your computer? Also, make sure your firewall is disabled because that can sometimes block Maplestory. Since the SAO patch, a lot of people have been having issues connecting to the game (including myself). I'm able to open the game, but I would sometimes disconnect at the character selection screen. If, by chance, I make it inside the game, I would just disconnect again 5 minutes later. I guess the only hope is to just wait for Nexon to fix it. It seems like a problem on their end.
First restart your computer and try.
Secondly if that doesn't work go to the main site and download the blackcipher again. Delete your old folder or temporarily take it out and put the new downloaded extracted one inside. Then try again. Let us know what happens.
