How does cubing work now?
I've been gone from maple for quite a while and i see that there are red cubes and black cubes so i'm wondering if they can change the amount of lines like say from 2 line unique to 3 line unique like the old red miracle cubes. umm sorry just haven't been on maple for a while thanks

It's a rare crafting material that you can get from heartstones, mysterious veins, legendary veins, or commerci trades (as drops from the bosses)

Not really. Before this, I think we had 6 or 7 types of cubes (lazy to count). This simplified it a lot.

Darn... They made everything so complex, so black cubes cost like 3k nx so how many fragments will i need?
They cannot.
Red Cube = Super Miracle Cube basically, except with an exceptionally crappier tier-up rate. Black Cubes give you the option of keeping your previous stats or the stats you just rolled. Both go up to Legendary, and do not add any potential lines.
You can trade in Black Cube Fragments to get Perfect Awakening Stamps though (100% to add a potential line).
They will not change the number of lines of potential you have.
If you have a 2-lined item, you'll need an awakening stamp, which fortunately many event coin shops sell.
As for how they work, a red cube works just like a super miracle cube and a black cube works just like a memory cube. The only difference is that the potential is revealed immediately, so you won't have a hidden potential item as a result.
