why wont maple work now

Well i was gonna update my old maple, the last time i played was like april or may.
I usually go for long periods of time and i can update and run fine but now my dad reformatted my laptop and changed it from vista to windows 7.
It says that it 'can't find the installation path' which is normal cuz then i just click 'run admin' but then it says 'Maplestory has compatibility issues' and when i clickrun program, it doesn't update or even run!

HOW CAN I FIX MAPLE?
I really dont wanna re-download maple but then again i dont think re-download would make a difference!
Please help me!

Is maple right now updating or is there a server check? Even if it is, it didnt say 'Maple is conducting server maintenence'.
