I need help on how to get rid of a keylogger. Title says it all. I downloaded AVG virus protection (trial) and did a full system scan, anti-rootkit scan, removed all duplicate files, automatic updates are on, and everything shows that it's enabled. I'm not sure if it got rid of the keylogger. My friend told me to sue norton and scan it like a billion times, but i can't get norton. So I need to use AVG. Should I keep scanning with avg or am I safe? If I need to provide more info, tell me please. ty.
