leeching from botters for elite bosses

Whats the likelyhood of getting banned from doing this? kind of running out of time to do the quest.

@Doutei:

Assuming most players are willing to walk for a 400m scroll? I would hope they would at least be able to do that. Granted yes hackers will find a way
to bypass it but that applies to all fixes. Also 5~10min is long enough to relog if you do crash. The alternative is nexon either stopping elite bosses,
them dedicating time to find some kind of solution which probably won't work because of what you just mentioned. Granted there are other quick
fix solutions that nexon can do but wont do for obvious reasons.~
Easy fix, every time a boss drops a reward, it goes to a storage at town where you have 5 min to pick it up or input pin or some silliness.
Anyway if you afk/attack in the same map then yes you have a chance to get banned luckily for you when one does spawn it is smegad in the
areas near it. Use that as you like.
Stupid fix imo.
It's like telling players to either kill themselves or pray to Nexon-Kami_SAMA they are close to a major city to get to it.
Walking down from Warrior to Leafre w.o return scroll is a total waste of time.
Chances are, hackers will find a way to dupe/abuse some glitch associated with that.
Not to forget DCing/crashing along the way.

OT: You can get banned. Though if it's for killing for arnel's quest. Best to cc outside those maps, and check world map for the bosses. It will also tell you which elite it is without going in blindly.
Go in kill, skip bonus and get out.

The bots do get banned, it seems like they don't but that's because they have thousands of mage accounts ready to replace the banned ones.

@MonkeyCraters I really do hope so. Elite bosses are a great concept for unfunded players to get a chance to build themselves up.

Exactly, just go do it.

Nexon has yet to take any sort of major action after the release of elite bosses which has caused this economy to go sideways.
From what I've noticed, less shops from botters have been appearing, so I assume that nexon has been taking some sort of action against them.

Actually, either the botters aren't farming much anymore, which is unlikely, or Nexon's gotten much better at banning them. The number of "hacker name" found a prot scroll messages in Bera has dropped sharply.
