Cosplaying Help
Hello. I am a cosplayer. And I have a question. Can anyone please name an anime character with PANTS that is very recognizable that isn't from Naruto or Free! that I could wear to an anime convention and people would know? Thanks!

Wear the Haikyuu shorts or some sports anime with a distinct uniform.

Just looking for pants though that distinguishes an anime character from a series.

When I attended Anime Expo LA last year, everyone was dressed up as someone from Attack on Titan. Their uniform involves pants as well as the very iconic 3D system. I think if I were to make any cosplay outfit right now, it would be Zoro from One Piece. His character's simple yet different. I also like his personality as well as the fact that he's a swordsman.
Sakata Gintoki has black pants, though it's mainly covered by his yukata.
Yukihira Souma from Shokugeki no Souma.
Bell Cranel from DanMachi?
Bobobo stands out a lot.
Decim from Death Parade if you can pull off the white hair and cross iris.

My next cosplay plan is to wear something that resembles an anime. For example Rukia's glove from bleach, Fairy Tail symbol for fairy tail, Mokana from xxholic/tsubasa chronicles, and etc.

I'm going to go and say if you want to be recognizable go ahead and cosplay kirito from SAO. He has pants.
At Otakon this year, I'll be cosplaying Ren Suzugamori from Cardfight Vanguard and Andromeda Shun from Saint Seiya.
