anyone here play league of legends?

My friends convinced me to play it so imma try it and i saw some videos that i like, so i might stick with it instead of maple or do both. can anyone tech me some stuff like how to see what other people are doing(which is waht i saw in videos) and how to play well. by the way, im waiting for it download right now al for some reasn for the past 20 mins my update has been on 33% ? but my download is lke jumping up and down like crazy from 1kbps to 1000kbps o.o
