So im having some graphics issues in maple.
ive tried posting this on the maple forums ... and got barly any help
im not gonna even think of sending a tix cause its gonna take like 5 + months
so heres wat i wrote on the maple forums :
so after i took a break from maple (like a couple days) i came back to see there is a patch and after i downloaded(took awhile cause at first it said character.wz is broken so i had to re-download around) i used the game launcher to open maple and then at the log on screen the font was very unfocused but i ignored it thinking it was just a one time thing because when i got to the world select screen all the typings were nice and understandable, so then i chose my world and then channel, THEN i found the font on my characters ign's were all messed up and out of focus. so i logged in to see if this is just a log on glitch and i noticed that all the typing was very blurry and very hard to read. so i started to try to move around and noticed i couldn't jump or use any of my skills or open up my friend,guild,party..etc windows so i checked my key setting and then every thing was wiped there was literary nothing on the thing not even at the bottom the only key on there was an f7 key all the way up in the corner not even on the key layout. after manually switching to friends chat box (couldn't press "3" to do that) i told him the situation he told me to set to default which fixed the key layout (couldn't think of doing that because there was no keys in the bottom box) but when i reloged everything was wiped again..... except one skill key which i put on there to test if it works.
also i cant provide a ss of when the key setting was all messed up and the f7 key was up in the corner
ive redownloaded the game like 3 times
So can any1 tell me how to fix the text blurriness and tell me how to make it so that my keys don't get wiped after logging off?

trust me there are very cheap but reliable graphics card that can run maple.

I wouldn't say you are screwed, There are still a few things you can try, but all depends on the outcome. If it works fine on the other computer then copy the whole Maplestory folder from the working computer, reinstall MS on your computer (I would download the RAR install files and save it some where, so you don't need to keep downloading it every time), then copy the whole folder from the working computer overwriting your computer's install.
BTW how much memory and free disk space on your computer?

Make sure the "other" computer is also using XP if you are doing the file copy.

Well that eliminated the locked file theory. If you have another computer that can play MS, try it on that to setup your key setting then check on your computer. Make sure you change you password once you are back on you own computer.

@holymage wel the thing is rite i cant afford that ether and plus i dont want to open up my comp and put it in ( afraid i mite break something and i cant aford to get some else to do but i mite later on this year) the thing is i dont want to wait till then to play maple so im looking for other solutions.

If you are just using window explorer to look at it, you can't tell if its locked. What you can do is to copy the whole folder into another folder to back everything it up, then delete the original folder, the locked files would not be deleted and would remain in the folder.

It would be one or more of the files in Maplestory folder, I can't log into the game right now, so can't tell you which file it is.

For the wiped keys, it might be there is a folder/file that MS can't write to after you had assigned all the keys, or you are very low in disk space. The folder/file might be locked by another process, you can try using "unlocker" (google it) to see if this is true.
For the blurriness, does the blurriness the same in both windows mode and full screen? If only in full screen then might be the full screen resolution doesn't match your monitor's "native" resolution. Try updating your video card driver.

read wat it says in the wall of text it says that friend already told me to do that and when i relog there wiped again
the thing is i dont want to put all my skill keys after pressing the " default" button because if a relog there all gone again (except for skill keys) so then ill have to press set to default which wipes my skill keys
so this is to long a process to do every single time i log in....
Ok well some graphics card usually start messing up after 2 years or so. you have a laptop or desktop and what brand is it.

i havnt upgraded to a new comp (i wish i would tho)
no im still using windows xp
the only messing around i did was install some new programs (IObit malware fighter and other programs related with iobit and then iolo memory mechenic cause some1 told me these would help my comp go a bit faster)
and my comp is like around 2-3 years old
