How to get going in Maplestory?
I just recently started playing and I have been playing on and off since I started in 2005, but I still don't really know how to.. I guess.. "get better" at the game.
I know what scrolling and potentials are, but all I really do is grind and do the occasional party quest, I have no clue which guild to join or how to join it and I have no friends besides the ones that played with me over Christmas break then quit. I got my mechanic to level 110 and just recently got to 115 just from grinding for 8th Anniversary Boxes..
Any help/stuff I should know would be greatly appreciated

Well I was in the second grade when I started playing and didn't come back until I was 12, then I just spent all my time sitting in Henesys and buying NX to make my character "look cool." I never got above level 45 besides on this account..

Well if you want friends and a guild to join then check out the listings on basilmarket. As for getting the ball rolling...buy/sell maple leaves and get to know prices for various things in the FM. Buy low, sell high as usual from that point onwards.
