Reading Japanese did this to me
In [url=http://uni-wz.com/blog-entry-2364.html]his post about the first part of the SEED patch in Japan[/url], Silver Bullet doesn't mention Hayato at all (though it does mention an item which allows the user to switch sexes, which is unusable by sex-locked characters (Hayato, AB, Kanna, Zero, etc).
However, commenters mention Hayato getting ready for a considerable buff (maybe). I'm not sure where the hype came from, but suddenly I find myself hopeful. Will it make me a regular player of the game again? Probably not, but at least I won't hate my thematically-favorite character anymore if it happens.
And so we come back to this topic: what is the #1 change you want to see made to Hayato (aside from bugfixes/preventing DR from triggering on Battoujutsu Stance or Counterattack, as both of those are a given necessity at this point)?

One of the buffs include the Hayato beginner ultimate, it'll do 1500% damage 6 times with a 300 sec cooldown.
@Elufu: Hayato got a couple of quality-of-life changes, not a buff. >.<

@DemoDango: This might help. Also it's not a hype.. more like they were condemning the way Nexon "buffed" Hayato.

@VietUA: It'd probably be better just to make it MUCH faster and deal higher damage with fewer hits. I'd say 350ms delay at normal speed with 5 lines or something like that.
Incidentally, it'd be a lot like Kanna's Vanquisher's Charm, but not as a keydown skill.
Hopefully this buffs Kanna as well... Kanna and Hayato are definitely two of my favorite classes
I'm hoping Shikigami and Senrenzan get buffed (or if not, just hitting more mobs on Shikigami is fine)
And I definitely agree with @Fighterdoken, we need a buff to Shinsoku. Faster attack speed? More damage? Waaaay more lines?
I wanna see Shinsoku buffed cause it's by far the worst bossing skill i've ever seen
