Interesting Inner Ability (bug?)

Getting to the point: the Inner Ability that adds 1 mob to multi target attacks also adds 1 mob to Shinsoku (I've tested it myself, it really does), allowing you to essentially 2v1 with it. This is super awesome to me, considering how useful that is at Gollux and on bosses like Horntail.

My question: would this actually be more useful than the +1 attack speed Inner Ability since Shinsoku is typically our go-to bossing skill? The difference between it and Rai spam isn't very big, and two of the three SI/DSI/Green pot options would let us hit the hard speed cap for that purpose anyway.

@ashleyattacked: Yeah, that's why I was wondering what alternatives there were to the usual "get AS" answer. 15 lines per second on Shinsoku pretty much forces you to not use Rai when you're bossing, though.

If there were a crit damage IA, I'd go for that. My Hayato's crit damage range is 51%-90% with DSE on, and when in Quick Draw it's 100% crit chance all day. I do hope they fix the Shimada Heart bug soon, because I'm sick of my damage being as unstable as it currently is.

Depends entirely on the job and somewhat on your skill. What helps you most?

For me, as an Angelic Buster, the answer was a clear 'Crit%'

awe... this makes it SOO tempting to go for this line! I could test with snipe...

But I don't think I want to risk my atk speed +1, 17% drop, 8% buff

I wouldn't call the multi-target IA bad, but skills that mob, even poorly, can be a double-edged sword in bossing (I'm looking at you, cPierre). But it's definitely a better idea to land dSI on a spare glove (or your main one, if you don't like switching) than to land the +1 AS inner ability.

I would consider %boss or %buff duration to be more useful in the long run, though. For bosses that summon minions or have multiple parts, I just turn Quick Draw off and use Rai Sanrenzan, then switch it back on.
