I sold mine for 4bil yesterday(made during anniversary with safety scrolls and +9 traced, epic pot) and before the merge/future nerf I consistently got 4-5bil offers so I guess that's the demand. If you're willing to wait for a 6+ bil buyer go ahead but there are a ton of staffs on the market and more to come in the coming months so keep that in mind when pricing.
Whatever it's worth, sell now. Pretty soon staves are only gonna be useful to BaMs, all other magicians will switch to faf wands.

Not as much as it used to be since we just had that event where you could get 90% 9 (m)att scrolls.
Best thing is to put it in shop and get offers in my opinion.
