@RubberDonkey: really? i dint notice it it looked like you were just punching using shockwaves from the energy.
@snowdragon470 Actually it's still there. All they did was move the spirit guy from appearing on top of your char to behind you in both version of octopunch. Still good though, you can barely even see it, especially in charged mode.

Thats actually the spirit punching at ultra sonic speed as to make it look like tiny lasers inside a laser if you look closely.
@ch33syp00fs: Well on the good note now when we are on ultra charge and use octo punch we ourselves do the punching but outside energy charge our spirit helps us o.o

It looks more like kid gohans harukanaru densetsu or a full power energy volley.(The new blast not the old one wich does look like final flash.)

I guess people keep calling it "Kamehameha" as most of them like Goku the best and see him as the best. Although bucc blast, now and in that video, have always looked more like a Final Flash to me.
