Silent Crusade as a source of exp

I'm currently at work and can't find out for myself if Silent Crusade is more of a fun quest chain, quest chain with rewards at the end, or a quest chain that offers excessive amounts of exp. So, to anyone that's tried it, would you mind posting your results on the exp gain?
