Weird Visual Sp Glitch

So I discovered a weird glitch today and I thought I'd share it with the Basil Community. Probably not in the right section, I apologize. I thought I'd share my findings with the basil community and nexon forums, so that perhaps players can see and possibly identify what could possibly be causing this.

So there I was, grinding away, leveling. I had just leveled to 146. I decided to put 2 out of the 3 SP I received into my Blade Fury skill (then at 28/30 sp) and the 3rd SP into Phantom Blow (then at 2/30). However, I accidently went too fast and somehow managed to add in 3 SP into Blade Fury. Now, as far as elementary school math taught me, 28+3 does not equal 30. It equals 31. However, it showed it as a maxed level 30. That's when I realized something was wrong.

So I decided to use the SP reset scroll we received at Hot Time today to fix what I believed to be either a personal blunder or truly a weird glitch. After adding in 1 sp into a skill, I saw something weird. When adding 1 sp to a Lvl 0 (no sp yet allocated) skill, 1 SP was taken from the SP reserve but displayed itself as a level "2" skill. So, 0 sp + 1 sp= 2 sp, somehow. It displayed the level 2 stats and everything. I decided to further test this bizarre glitch by adding in another point. 2+1 became 3. Which is normal. So I decided to bring the skill to Level 10, which is its max level, by adding 7 points to it. When it reached the max, another weird thing showed up. Even at max level skill, it seems I could still add 1 more point to it. So it would display level 10 as the level of the skill and hovering your cursor over it displayed level 10 stats. However, I could still add another point. So, I decided "why not" and tested what would happen if I added another point to the "maxed" skill. The result? Still level 10 with level 10 stats but no longer accepting points. After multiple, careful tests on multiple skills, the same results were produced. Adding 1 sp to a level 0 gave me level 2. And adding 8 points to the skill would give me a level 10 that could still accept points. After more testing, I realized that it may just be a visual glitch, seeing as it takes 1 sp from your reserve if 1 sp is applied to a skill (even if it displays as 2). I was further convinced that it was a visual glitch, when at level "2", it automatically offered to add 9 more points. Thus, it is attempting to allocate the max amount of points to the skill but the skill itself is showing incorrect numbers.

And so, to simplify and conclude what I have just said above, I am suffering some form of a visual glitch with SP point distribution that appears to display a skill 1 sp higher than is put into it. So putting in 1 SP displays it as 2 SP. I have provided screenshots before and after point distribution below, in order to show the community proof that I'm not some raging lunatic.

Please leave a comment below with any possible theories, thoughts or definite answers on what could possibly be causing such a weird glitch and if this issue has occurred in the past. If I am the only one who will ever experience this glitch, then let this topic be a warning to players who are currently leveling to be careful with SP distribution and to not be alarmed if this visual glitch occurs.

P.S. To those who believe this issue is already on the "Nexon Known Issues list" on the maplestory website: The only SP-related issue that is on Nexon's list is: "Some Dual Blade characters have an abundance of SP and are unable to complete the 4th job advancement". However, I do not count my issue as "an abundance of SP", seeing as it takes away a correct amount of SP from the SP reserve. Rather, it incorrectly displays the Skill level after SP distribution.
