Battle mage Blood Drain

Ok so i kinda solved my funding problem. I will buy $2000 worth of nx -sarcasm-

But to all battlemages with experience in blood drain: does it actually help you use less hp pots? and if so, what did you/are you going to cap it at? I've read some guides abotu capping at 3/5/9 for various reasons, but if its really *that* good, why can't you just max it and ditch staff booster?

If anyone who put only 3 in BD and is a higher level now would like to give me some input on how that went, please quote this post

For lower levels, it helps out a lot but since it's so easy to level in lower levels now. It's only if you're unfunded. Once you're a higher level, 3 points in BD is already enough to heal 10% HP which is the max you can heal. You'll be killing mobs of monsters and you'll be doing a lot more damage. Anymore points will be a waste and booster is more important as the level gets higher, so does the duration making training a lot more easier cause you won't have to rebuff entirely.
