So I got the game working but every time I go to log into a server it just continues to connect and inevitably crashing to a disconnect from the server pop up.

So I got the game working but every time I go to log into a server it just continues to connect and inevitably crashing to a disconnect from the server pop up.

I have the same problem, and it's not MapleStory that is the problem -- it is your account. Like what frankfs, you're probably banned (like me.. and I haven't played Maple in a long while) by accident. Test your Maple with another account to make sure it's not the game acting up. Then what you can do is livechat with Nexon and have them check up your account to see if it's really banned. If it is, they will send in a ticket and review your account.
@ytravis: I am also having the same problem but my friend was able to login with my account on his computer.
I'm having the exact same problem, last night and the night before I cant get in. It crashes after putting in my pin. I was able to get on one morning but I'm back to crashing. I do notice the profession and character card takes extra time to lead and when thats done it crashes. redownloaded maplestory and still crashing

I'll help you out, it's because you've been banned.
You most likely used the 99 cubes exploit yesterday, just like me. Haven't really done anything with the cubes or money but still got permabanned. Sent a ticket tho, hope for the best. Suggest you do the same.
If you want proof, go to your maplestory folder and launch the game using gamelauncher, you'll have to fill in ID and password this way and you'll also be able to receive the blue ban-message.
channels are fragile, like glass. gotta click them lightly or theyll crash and break you know
