I could suggest you to re-download both Hackshield and BlackCipher at [url=http://maplestory.nexon.net/Support/Downloads.aspx]Game Clients & Updates[/url]. I doubt it'll work, but it's worth a try.

Black Ciper was using all my cpu resources and I tried everything and I mean everything to solve it.I was dcing every 2 minutes and couldn't play the game.
I reinstalled maple, set the
priority for BC to low, ran as xp.But no matter what I did BC still was using all my resources. Then i went into task manager and
just started ending the processes of anything I didn't think was windows related. Presto I can play maple again with no lag and no dcing
I dont know this worked. The processes weren't taking up mush resources. The only thing I can think of is something was making BC
go ballistic. And no I didn't have a virus.

Strange. It came back about a week ago but the crashing only started this morning. And, in APQ, the moment I enter, I am extremely laggy to the point that I can barely move around. Started happening two days ago. Sigh, I can't do anything in this game anymore.

It's been like that ever since black cipher came back -_-... I can't even do fun things without crashing every 10minutes or so
