Should I start funding again?

I quit funding and sold off everything a few months ago. Thinking about starting up again. Is it worth it...? I don't even have my Gollux preqs done on this, and I find this game way too grindy, but I miss being able leave the FM and have something to do on MS other than merch and chat.

@probelv2 Not sure if I can pull that off (5 mules, drop rate etc), but even if I could it wouldn't be worth it. The reason I quit initialy was because it's simply not rewarding to be funded. You can have 250b in funds and make 5b a week from bossing. It's very difficult to make money off bossing. My old main had about 22k stat, could solo every boss cept hard lotus, etc. Right now, I'll have enough for 35-40k stat, which is what I'll be going for.

By making money I meant actual profit. In one week, I can spend 400, and it turns into 600 by the end of the week.

I don't know how funded you were before, but worth it? Unless you have max drop rate and can solo every game while being able to bring 5 mules in, then do it.

Also... its not really making money off the game if you spent money on the game to begin with. Its... just trying to break even.

@mrsonylicious Working 2 jobs isn't really my thing. =/ Usually, I afk on maple, play csgo, go out, etc, while making deals on skype and during those 5 minutes every hour when I'm not afk. I make around $200 a week from Maple. Recently, it's been starting to become more of a chore so I thought I'd start funding again and enjoying MS while it lasts (though I'm not entirely sure how much I'll actually enjoy it..).
@emplex if you get a part time job for the time you spend on ms, you can actually make a lot more money.
Since you don't enjoy making money on ms, this makes even more sense.
This. Except maybe merchanting is a bit more fun and you can just sit in a chair. and listen to music while you merch.Since maple is like your side job now, you gotta just make sure you have all your needs taken care of. If you already do then you can start taking care of your wants. Which in this case, can be funding a character for fun in maplestory.
@seodan I never left, I've just been using maple to make money irl, kind of like a side job, but the time I spend on MS is getting kind of boring...
Ah well that's up to you then. I guess it depends on your financial situation, how much you're making and whether you think it's worth it, depending on how bearable the boredom is

How much money do you have right now? If you been merching and you have lots of money by now you should. If you have a class you love especially so it's not a "chore" to do boss runs and stuff for drops.

Edit: Oh i see u made side money in real life. Well it's up to you then. Make a decision and see if it is worth in the end.

The game isn't grindy at all anymore!
I haven't done any "grinding" since I reached 170. I'm 204 now (about a month for me to get 170-204) from just bossing, quests, events, dimension invasion, etc (basically everything but grinding).

If you're actually going to come back I don't see why not. Funding your character has become the #1 priority in this game anyway
