Should I make a I/l or F/p?
I know there's a buttload of threads about this topic, but I can't get the right answers. Most of the threads were from long time back, before some revamps and patches, so yeah.
WHAT'S BETTER, I/L OR F/P?

To anyone claiming that F/Ps require more skill to play: We pretty much spam attacks like any other class. Our playstyle isn't even that dissimilar to I/L; we just use a few more skills.
Ice Lightning UA, Hands down mi amigo.
I/L better at training and below 120, F/P better at bossing and later lvs
I/L also=chain lightning spam 24/7 but f/p doesn't really spam which makes it more fun imo (i know this is biased)
well i/L have chain lightning which is awesome, F/Ps have mist eruption which is awesome
thing is you probably won't like F/P unless you know how to use mist eruption (the description's crap)
basically the more DoTs you stack the stronger it gets, so if you have about 20k range and you just use mist eruption alone, you'll probably hit like 200k x 6
if you use bb, fire demon, poison breath, paralyze, meteor, and let the poison mist DoT kick in, you'll hit 800k-max x 6
i/L's are mostly just spamming chain lightning idk my i/L's only lvl 120
my friend has played both and said she likes i/L more tho, it's a matter of preference
I'd have to say I/L if you were going to make an adventurer mage but if not I'd definetly stay with your evan..

Out of fp and il, my fp mage appeals to me more. Though I did feel weaker then my il mage for a bit until I went on it and seen it was actually stronger than my il.

Funding decides which is better. Browse around youtube to see which playing style appeals to you the most.

It all depends about your funding and playing style.... I'd go with I/L mage since they kill faster and their 3rd and 4th job skills seem cool
Make a f/p since they can hit max w/ 18k range
