Sairs still good?
So Ive been working on my sair (last character I had to make b4 I had all classes to 120) Im just wondering if sairs are worth my time to get bossing gear for or is their spot on the DPM charts too low now to be worthwhile. Any insight is greatly appreciated

Ship being gone opens way more doors for us corsairs the smart ones will stay I know I am we finally get some stance, we get 30% ignore status effect, we get so much more of a crit rate and also our final attack is 100% activated.
people need to do research before even posting.
@bananadevontay: it is my ship cause the word "battle ship" sound awesome that why i only made it on pr(i)vat3 server to see how good is SHIP does.

I have a bucc (137) and i find he's just not fun anymore (not a big fan of transformation) the sair is fun because of the ship to me but with that going away soon....
i used to want to be a corsair. but then nexon removed battleship.

Pros : we are good at bossing we were literally made to boss
Cons: Until our update our survival rate isn't that high, we don't have a drain skill or high def and our avoid isn't so great for a ranged class the only thing that saves us is our raw attack power/speed and the 30%ignore status. Hopefully we can get a draining skill other than that we're alright but you're reading from a Corsair's perspective so you choose.
I would choose bucc if you're new to the pirate class they're easier to handle and have higher hp and i think they have more plentiful equips and they are more flashy I just refuse to play one since they don't have any type of flash jump skill.
If you're wondering if they are better at bossing than NL's I'm not too sure and I'm not going to say we are but the fact that we have 100%final attack and rapid fire is stronger than cannon and one of the fastest skills in the game I would think we are top four DPM wise at bosses.
Awe that kinda sucks ive been working on him for the best 3 days and he's almost 130 oh well back to NL or merc i guess

Funny cause they used to be as good as - if not better than - night lords DPS/DPM-wise. Now they've done a complete 180.
Not really worth it. Now they are weak compared to every other class and after the revamp they don't get much better.
