Are regular items still viable?
Hi! I was wondering if regular equips are still viable. Now with all these new equips that have amazing set bonuses like SW, Root Abyss, and Empress, they all pretty much outclass every other equip in the game (aside from tyrants of course). So what I'm trying to say is, could you still get somewhat decent damage with just regular level 100 equips or so that are cubed to be a good amount of % stat. Back when Empress was the best thing, 50% stat would be better than Empress set unless cape was involved. What about now?

I don't think they are viable anymore. For example, the 3 set root abyss is +50 attack and some other stats. That alone + the high base stats on the equips alone (like 30-40 primary and secondary stat or something) should be better than if you had 15% on a random hat/top/bot
I wear a neos top and bottom and I consider myself hitting somewhat decent damage. The only set effect that I have on is the 3 Alien set effect. I find the regular Items okay to use however I do not recommend cubing them.
@RFighter Yeah, but the with those sets, the equips are untradeable until Psok or forever. Also, stuff like RA is pretty expensive.
Yes, for turning into item crystals if you're into crafting.
It'd be quite a waste to try to cube level 100 equips, seeing as how it isn't hard or slow to get to 150.
