Re-installing MapleStory problem
So I'm trying to install MapleStory from the website (played using Steam for awhile and didn't like how it locks onto one account. I have a few other MapleStory accounts that I want to log onto for the free boxes.) So I decided to give the website a chance and decided to download it from there. I uninstalled Steam's MapleStory and everything associated with Maple from my computer. I went to the website>Support>Game Clients and Updates>Download Game Client and let it start. But for the past 20 minutes or so, it's been stuck at 0B out of 2,883 MB. I cancelled it and tried again, assuming it froze and the same problem is occurring. My computer has enough space and I'm not running anything else other than Mozilla Firefox. I don't know how to fix this, please help? It's not stopped or paused in case you're wondering if I may have accidentally and stupidly clicked that.

My same situation. It happened yesterday too, but the day before that it would just not start up and say my firewall was blocking it (which it wasn't). At this point I'm really hoping that it's downloading and not showing any progress like someone said^. Nothing is happening in the folder that it's downloading in though...

The same issue occurs for me. I'm from the west coast (U.S.) and I've tried downloading from chrome, Explorer, and even steam on a windows-7 64-bit comp. Every download i get either downloads completely and then patches incorrectly and tells me to re-install it (due to it downloading an old version), or downloading the current version, and saying 0% downloaded for hours (even though it says 59 minutes and 59 seconds)...
Anyone know of a solution yet? Hopefully this information helps...
@WhoIsDead Well, that doesn't help very much. Not to be rude, the information was helpful, but what the information was wasn't. If that makes sense. Now we won't know if it's as you say or if it's really not downloading/frozen. I guess if you had the time you could experiment...XD
I've heard it's downloading, but it just doesn't show any progress. Not sure how to help though.
