It depends on how godly you wanna be. You can get a great range by taking advantage of events by getting scrolls for a dagger. A fafnir dagger is probably 2.5b clean, clean tyrants altogether is probably 5b, and RA top, bottom, and hat is 1.5b altogether. Then figure if you wanna get fancy with rings and whatnot. Gollux equips, 2 rings and a pendant would cost a good bit, i [i]think[/i] more than 5b, and then other miscellaneous equips. [b]This is all clean equips by the way.[/b] So all in all, your main equips should cost you less than 10b. Extra equips can range from 3 to 10b. Then figure you wanna cube it yourself. Now if you wanna buy your items cubed, just multiply these costs by 10.

Meso Guard saves you a heap of cash.
Certain areas you can go without it though if you're able to preemptively avoid damage instances, or if you've picked up Vampire (if you can still do that).

I created my shadowed without any funding and I'm still able to hit over 100k.
Don't worry about that too much currently, at least until higher levels.
Meso guard saves you more mesos over the long run.

But when you do get damaged, you'll be thanking the Nexon gods that you have Meso Guard.

i wouldn't say a lot of funding. You can go get yourself a clean empress set for no more than 300m
