Corsair

Back from the Dead

Hey everyone! Back on Maple in almost 2+ years and I can't believe how much has changed. So I really liked my Corsair before, but I think I love it now. What exactly does Brainscrambler do? I am very confused by this ability. Is it better to max Quickdraw before Brainscrambler? Additionally, I have 1 skill point for Whaler's Potion. Should I use it on that or should I wait until 200 to get Epic Adventure?

Which is considered a better stat: % Attack or % Total Damage?

I started grinding in Evo Lab so I'm level 162 now. My Reverse/Timeless equips are [apparently] garbage and I am in desperate need of advice on the next set. I plan to work my way up to Sweet Wter, but I have no idea where to start! In the meantime, I've been working on getting several of the Link Skills.

Thanks in advance for all your assistance! BTW - currently looking for new friends in Bellocan!

I'm back after 2 years too.. It's so different.. I first started in 2008! Now there is so many classes and whatnot :o
Thanks and same to you! It has been quite overwhelming, I must say, but I feel more at home on this character than I used to. Everyone around me feel so powerful and rich though... 2 bil used to be a lot and now it's chump change...
Brain Scrambler is your alternative 1v1 skill. It gives you more mobility compared to Rapid Fire, but only when you unlock the Brain Scrambler -100% Cooldown Hyper Skill. I'd max Quickdraw before Brain Scrambler.
Thanks so much for the ability info! I'm going to dump my saved points in right now! I'll write down the equips you mentioned and hit the FM full force for P/Cs. Usually, I'd ask friends, but out of 100 buddies, only one is still semi-active. I guess I wasn't the only one tired of playing (and other stuff I won't get into).

Brain Scrambler is your alternative 1v1 skill. It gives you more mobility compared to Rapid Fire, but only when you unlock the Brain Scrambler -100% Cooldown Hyper Skill. I'd max Quickdraw before Brain Scrambler.

There's a new set of skills called Hyper Skills that have their own set of skill points. You gain SP for your active skills (A), your stat enhancing passives (P) and your skill enhancing passives (S) at different levels.

140: +1 S, +1 P
150: +1 A, +1 S
160: +1 S, +1 P
170 +1 A, +1 S
180: +1 P
190: +1 S, +1 P
200: +1 S, +1 P, +1 A

So yeah, add that point into Whaler's Potion. You get 1 active skill point at the appropriate levels that you unlock the skills.

%Attack almost all of the time.

Grab the cRA set (Royal Wanderer Hat, Eagle Eye Wanderer Coat, Trixter Wanderer Pants, and a Fafnir Zeliska). They're all relatively cheap, and then when you get some more money, grab the Tyrant Altair Cloak, Belt, and Boots. They gain an enormous of stats when enhanced, and they pair very well with the cRA set.

Link Skills are great! Your priorities should be Kanna (10% damage at level 120), Demon Avenger (10% damage at level 120), and Xenon (10% all stat at level 120). After that, it's kind of a pick and choose type-deal. Phantom gives 15% critical rate at 120, and having Mercedes's Link Skill (15% experience at level 120) is good for levelling up Link Skill characters.
Zero won't be createable for a while. They were already released in GMS.
That "b" line you mentioned, is a Nebulite. I suggest you read about them here.
Again, such helpful info! Thanks so much!
Thanks! I have a long road ahead of me! I just finished a Haynato and almost 120 on my Kaiser (need that HP, lol)! I keep hearing about "Zero" class and I want to link their skill too. When will they be coming to GMS? Ah, att is better. Good to know.

Most of my items have potential, some have bonus potential, but how do I get that extra "B" potential line at the bottom?
Not sure about the first few questions, as I'm not a Corsair, but you'd might want to check this guide.

As for the last few questions -
1. %ATT > %Total Damage.
2. Root Abyss (Fafnir) set is actually better and cheaper than SW, so I advise you to go with that.

Make sure to get the essential link skills first (DA, Kanna, Phantom, etc...).

Welcome back
