Is it only me ?
Well like is it only me ? But for the past week I struggle to log in maplestory it literally takes me more than 10 attempts before I finally log in to the server,
I dont know if its my internet or something or if its nexon that is having issues, but my internet is fast and it was always good with ms, this started happening like a few
days ago....

Mines been working fine on my crappy laptop. Haven't had any issues besides taking forever to load.

but I have a question, since leaving high performance for too long can damage my battery, that means I should put it back to saving mode
when I finish playing ms? Or take it off right when I get in the server? Because I dont want my battery to get damaged again lol @Draception

Yeah! There are many ways to speed up your computer processing speed.
Many of them are stated in my guide: http://www.basilmarket.com/forum/2657057
You can also google, "How to speed up my computer" or something among those lines.
The best ways to speed up your computer in my opinion are:
1. Control Panel> Power Options> High Performance Mode
2. Control Panel>System>Advanced System Settings>Advanced Tab>Performance Settings>Adjust for best performance
You'll be sacrificing graphics for a smoother experience, though. You can also try using CCleaner, that works for many people. Also run a full virus scan just in case.
Also be wary that you'll lose battery much faster than normal. It shouldn't harm the battery, unless you leave high performance on for a long period of time.
Some laptops also have an option to literally increase the max speed of your CPU such as the Energy settings on Lenovo laptops.
If you can find such a setting, be sure to leave it on high.

Server log in/startup issues are usually not due to internet connection problems.
It's mostly because of a slow computer, from my experience.
My mediocre i3 Win7 laptop can startup Maplestory after 3 tries in about 10 minutes, while my i7 Win8 desktop starts maplestory in the first attempt within about 2 minutes
