What are those purple crystals?

So yeah, in MapleStory, I've seen these purple crystals in many places.

For example, the crystal that the Angelic Blessing Angels carry. You can see it on the Nautilius, Magatia buildings, and various other places that I can't think of right now.

So...Anyone want to shed some light on what this crystal is?
Lidium?

I'm just curious, this doesn't have to do with anything.

That would make sense.. they look like the crystals being mined in Magatia by umm.. the guy who makes the sword and gives permission to go hunt Deo.

edit: that's why prebb lidum could only be found my monsters in the desert region.

They're all over Orbis too. They're what keeps Ossyria floating in the air.

They've never been explained.. who knows.. maybe the Dark Mage is trying to possess all the floating purple crystals or something.

Either that or someone on the Maple design team is a New Age crystal hugger.
