Is it unusual to have feelings for someone who is 2 years older than you while you both are in college still? Does the age gap make a big difference in how you connect with your potential significant other? Would it be something that prevents two people from being together since the experiences are a little different? For some reason, it feels like the difference in age will somewhat affect the connection between two people. Chemistry question D hey all, So i did an experiment that was solely used to obtain H2 gas from Mg (s) strips. However, when i try to write the balanced equation for it, it didn't make sense. can someone help me figure out the products for this reaction? The only products that i observed from it was H2 (g) and some solution left. there isn't any precipitate so MgSO4 can't be a possibility. Mg+H2SO4+H2O ---> ? (i know H2 (g)) is one of the products but this still doesn't balance the equation due to no sulfur or Mg.
Guild wars 2 performance? Hey all, I was just wondering if guild wars 2 demands a lot in terms of graphics capabilities. I've tried guild wars 1 on medium-high settings on my laptop and it runs smoothly, but i'm not sure if it can handle guild wars 2 or not. I tested "canyourunit" and it says it can't run too well but i have bought games in the past that can run on the lowest settings. Can someone confirm if the game can run smoothly on the lowest settings and what type of computer you're using? Thanks!

how to cope with school frustration? So lately calculus has been giving me trouble and sometimes i feel like life is just too frustrating to get through. What are some ways to calm down? =/ because at this rate, i'm trying my best to review, do hw, and even test reviews to practice for my test tomorrow. Motivation for school. Hello Basilers, So lately i've been losing motivation to work hard in school and i'm trying not to become lazy to the point that my grades will suffer because of this. I really don't know whats happening or what made me lose this sense of motivation. But can some of you post below what makes you motivated to work hard in school and perhaps keep you in-line with your school studies? Any major tips would be helpful. I'm really looking for honest advice. I don't know if this helps but I'm taking IB and lately things are just hard and stressful to manage. poor parenting strong demotivator So just now, i read something really rude that my parents were anticipating on writing in a card to a family friend. and it got me really infuriated at how they would even think of writing such demotivating things and stuff you shouldn't really say to others. it was related to me and it just made me very angry. Yet my dad goes "well you have to be honest" but like sometimes there are things that you should just keep to yourself instead of being a big mouth and spreading the news of whats going on. Sometimes these personal things are more hurtful than you think. I'm sorry that this doesn't matter to anyone, but i just wanted to shed my anger out. Hopefully you guys can understand. =/ Thanks

Feeling down during winter break Hey basilers, I don't know what got to me but lately i haven't been feeling happy or even the slightest joy. Homecoming question for girls Hey all, so homecoming is coming up for me and i was wondering if anyone has any cute/creative ideas that I can use to ask this girl. I was originally thinking of buying a dozen roses and have them split between 4 people (3 of them would carry 3 roses while the 4th carries 2), and they would give them to her during class. upon her last class, she'll have 11 roses but in the last set, it'll have a note saying "count the roses you have and notice that your missing 1, meet me at X place to receive your final rose" from, mystery homecoming date. Where did you get accepted to and which places unfortunately denied you? Any reactions/frustration? Feel free to vent here. I, myself, got 1 acceptance, 1 waitlist, and 3 denials. One of which was my dream school. =/ i felt so empty when i read the online admissions letter to my dream school. It's going to be tough living through the rest of senior year. Although i have 2 more places to hear back from. :O so hopefully things will look better in the future :D Frostdrake54
