Cannot accept lvl 75 gift

so i got my newly-created mech to lvl 75 and was hyper-excited to use the new gun, but when i clicked the light bulb and pressed 'accept' -- nothing happens.

I tried ccing, re-logging -- still nothing happens; tried to accept other quests, worked fine.

I 1st tried to accept the gift at lvl 75, didn't work. Now im lvl 76, still doesn't work. Can I EVER get it?
