Just buy the recipe. It's comparatively cheap.
Very luck-based. Maybe you'll find one from the next MDT you kill, maybe you won't get one at all.
I suggest doing the Mining Part-Time Job, you have a much higher chance of getting the recipe like this (I've gotten 3 so far).
