turtle beach x42
HI.
I got this headset yesterday and today got to try it but i have an issue. I followed all the instructions to pair it up but it just won't. The manual method doesn't work for me and doesn't have a solution to the problem either. I wonder if there's someone around with the same headset willing to help me out with this.

@BobR: Yep, thank you very much. I contacted them yesterday and after a long conversation, the representative told me that there's something wrong with my headset. Bleh...

You should probably contact the Turtle Beach customer service people on their web site and tell them what's been happening, and mention that flashing.
"Blink codes" like that are often used to indicate error conditions that might help diagnose what's wrong.

Seriously, i think my headset is broken. I've tried several methods including the one stated above without success. I changed the batteries and tried several different things but it just won't pair up. Always the same thing: power up the transmitter, hold headset power button for about 5 seconds, hold pair button for about 5 seconds, after another 5 seconds, the transmitter starts breathing again and the headset led starts blinking twice or double flashing (i have no idea what the pattern means...).
Amongst the damning reviews on Amazon is the correct way to pair the transmitter with the headset.
