Doesn't the place that Mercedes are from have the same name as [url=http://grandchase.wikia.com/wiki/Eryuell_Island]this?[/url] And the description about this place says that they sent one of their best troops to kill Kaze'aze.(Which is the Black Mage of GrandChase) And Elves live there, too.

some names picked on many games are chosen from legends and mithologies. i'm not sure about this one, but try to investigate a bit more, maybe it's from mithology, like the Leviathan for example
