Megiddo Flame healing?

Sometimes when I'm bossing, Megiddo Flame will often start healing the boss in place of doing its normal DoT. Usually it only happens on things like Chaos Vellum, Chaos Queen, and once in a while at Gollux, but whenever it does it's extremely irritating because it heals the boss up to full HP even if I'm attacking, which means it's healing billions of HP a second, which is just absurd. I'm not sure if the amount it heals is reliant on your range but the fact that it's healing billions of HP a second makes me think it isn't (the amount that's shown visually is, but the amount it heals by clearly isn't, at least).
I made a thread on southperry about this issue a while back when I was first starting to do Chaos Vellum runs and eventually came to the conclusion that it was indeed Megiddo Flame causing it. There are images in the thread of Chaos Vellum healing right after Megiddo Flame is used (you can see it on cooldown) if you would like to see some visual evidence.

Has anyone experienced this? I've almost completely stopped using the skill because of this.
I've done a few hell mode gollux runs without using Megiddo, he still heals. Not as fast as when I do use Megiddo, but I've definitely seen its HP recover from only using the other DoT skills =/
Hmm.. That's odd. I've only ever had it happen with Megiddo.

I don't see how that video is related lol. He doesn't even use Megiddo.
That's nexon telling you that you're too powerful.
This is actually what I was thinking at first. Maybe it's possible to do too much DoT that it backfires and starts to go negative (aka: healing)?
Now that I think about it, it's happened at Chaos Pink Bean as well.

That's nexon telling you that you're too powerful, and they want you to stop the animal abuse. Vellum was supposed to be some dreadful, terrifying boss, and you're making it look like a toy, and they don't like it.

On serious note, Looks like a bug with the reistance system if you ask me. I had a similar issue with ariel during Pink Bean run, where instead of dealing 1's, (or not dealing damage at all) - it would heal her when I used AR.
fact is that when I removed VoA it would solve the problem.
I figured behind the scenes, on the program level, VoA+AR counts as an entirely different attack (it behaves differently, and has different effects), and that new attack isn't programmed well enough.
Now that I am seeing this thread, I am think I may be wrong, and the problem may rely in the reistance system, which means I wasn't nessecerily wrong - it could be that the "new skill" I've been using was in fact badly programmed in the resistance part, which could be the same issue you have with Megiddo Flame.
Although - it makes me wonder how come it only happens "Sometimes" in your case.
I've never seen that happen at Gollux for me on either Hard/Hell modes. For the few times I've tried C.Pierre, the only heals have come from oblivious party members with matching hat colors. I have a vague recollection that C.Queen healed when I tried a while back - I'll give it another go tomorrow and see what happens.
cQueen probably healed because someone got seduced into her mirror
OT: I've never had problems with MF healing any boss. I did notice, however, that when you hit cPierre when you're the same hat color, he heals way too fast. My ifrit accidently hit him and dealt 15m which should've only healed him 1.5m but in reality it healed him about 2 FH+ME combos.

ehh... Bug Reports don't really do any good unless more people are having the same issue. I figure I'll get more feedback through here than I would through the official forums. If more people report it happening then I can submit a Bug Report and link this thread with the hopes of more people posting via the official forums.

Wow... that is really absurd o.o

Haven't been on much (and I'm not even at that level, lol) to test this... if you write a bug report on the official forums I'll be sure to confirm it
