Soul Eater Anime is terrible?
So I was talking with my friend about soul eater and he kinda spoiled the series for me by saying the ending ruined the series for him. Apparently the show to him was amazing from 1-50 but episode 51 just killed it.
Atm I'm midway in the Soul Eater anime, so should I continue watching? I'm really enjoying watching the show but I'm afraid of being disappointed after watching the ending.
What do i do?

I really enjoyed Soul Eater. That ending was cancer though. I've heard the manga ends differently though so I hope we can see a reboot with a better ending like they did with FMA.
You can always read the manga if you finish the series or not. The story is quite different.
@SilverFoxR: No I totally agree with you. It was a fun watch and it was good, but it wasnt [i]that[/i] good. Like lots of people I know are like ZOMG SOUL EATER YOU GOTTA SEE IT SO GOOOOOOOD and I just think it was a good watch but it's not that far up there.
The ending was ok, but do keep in mind also that in the manga they are WAAAAY past this point. Like most anime series it just sorta got cut off in an awkward spot.

It's certanly not a 5-star anime (the ending does kill it from that), but it is certainly a good series. I'd probably give it a 4/5 (not counting the ending). The characters, world and premise are all interesting, the action beats are good and the writing (comedy especially) is pretty solid. I genuinely laughed loudly at some of their gags (almost all of the "exam" episode, probably the best episode in the series) and had a character or two I could get behind and root for. So, it's definitely an above average series that's worth watching. All in all, it's a good ride... that sprays cold water in your face just before you get back to the station. Overall pretty fun, just disappoints at the end.

Well worth watching
It was good until the lackluster ending for both the anime and manga.
I thought it was a fairly average show until the ending. It was just incredibly generic and felt rushed.

Everything leading up to the last 5 to 10 minutes of the series is pretty good. The ending is just... mary-sue-ish and, though I understand what they ending bit they were going for was, it ends up being stupid when you put any semblance of thought into it.
I'm going to rewatch X-men Evolution (watched some in elementary school), might be more enjoyable o 3 o
yeah you should still watch it. the ending is bad but so is the ending to the manga, so really nobody won regardless of which version they experienced
The ending is pretty bad, but if you're enjoying it, enjoy episodes 1-50.
