HAHAHA I saw a YouTube video of this, it's amazing! Isn't there a revised version with like 260CFM as well?

I've only found one picture showing the 4 screw holes for the front fan. http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Antec/Sonata_III/images/hddbays.jpg

Yeah thats what mine looks like. the hard drive cage is right there.. right in front

Also, about the front fan mount, it has to have air ducting built into the plastic front of the case in addition to a punched hole for the fan (and mounting holes) in the metal of the case chassis. They may use the same internal metal part for multiple case models and the front fan opening may only work if the front that's snapped on has the proper venting designed into it for your model.
Fans don't make a terrible difference in CPU temperature, maybe 4-6 deg max. What you really need is an aftermarket CPU cooler.

And no it doesn't, your case only has one rear 120mm fan slot.
uhhhh so the 4 holes in the front dosent actually serve a purpose?

I don't think the Sonata III has a front fan mount. Go check for me.
Jk, I went AMD too ): I nearly cried when the bulldozer came out, and definately not of joy.
I bought my Phenom II X4 805 for $80 before the i5-750 was released. I got it for cheap because it had already been phased out and Fry's was clearing stock. It remains to be one of the best deals I had ever jumped upon.
I'm certain hairamoose built his current rig before Sandy Bridge was even released. I even still remember that he uses the AMD stock cooler.

If you aren't going to aggressively overclock or overclock at all, you can use the $30 Hyper 212 PLUS or even the $20 Hyper TX3. Either option will drop CPU temperatures while generating less noise.
Services him right for going AMD ^___^
im pretty sure right now its decent atleast....

Also if there are no compentent hardware changes that i could do, maybe i could introduce some better cooling? I do not like the noise that is coming out of my case and the temperature it is emitting
A motherboard doesn't make your computer run faster, it's like the glue that holds your computer together.

The motherboard you have is an AMD one which makes upgrading very difficult because so far all the new AMD CPUs are for a lack of a better word crap. The only way you could get a better CPU is to get a new motherboard (an Intel one).

Good cases/fans to make your case quiet would be Antec p280, Antec p183, Fractal R3 - good CPU coolers would be CM 212, any noctua CPU fan, and the Corsair H60/100 for being quiet. Good fans in general would be the Nexus basic fan.

Why not just bank the money and wait until you actually see a need to upgrade?

By then the prices will have fallen on everything everyone's been talking about here, and new stuff will have come out rendering it obsolete anyway.

Nvidia have done this a few times in the past.

The 7970 is a single GPU card and the GTX 590 is a dual GPU card (uses 2 underclocked GTX580). The GTX590 is approximately 20% better than the HD 7950, but the GTX 590 is still a $700 card whereas the 7970 is $550. The 7950 is also more power-efficient and run cooler (which can be said that it's not as noisy as the fan may not need to ramp up as hard).

If you are going to compare the GTX590 with any card, compare it with other dual-GPUs cards such as the 6990 or the future 7990. Edit: Apparently, DJP had already address this to you in another thread...
She was not the only one, I addressed that to him in this thread when I mentioned the 6990 dual GPU and he proceeded to have a go at me.

Trust me, waiting 2 months to get a discount (more than $20) is worth the wait. He'll have more money to spend on some card that may come out thats better than what he originally wanted, and have enough to buy it. Just a word of advice. Don't do what I did, go crazy over the 7970 and see that it fails in comparison to the GTX 590. I'm waiting for Nvidia to release a new line to drop the GTX 590 in price by $50+ so I can nab it.
I'd wait 1-2 months honestly. The 7xxx series is still spanking new and they can price them at wherever they want because Nvidia isn't doing anything about it atm. Though sadly, the GTX 590 STILL outperforms the HD 7970. You'd think AMD would create a GPU that can outperform the GTX 590 with their new lines.

Chart

The prices will drop for the 7xxx series, so I'd wait til their around $300-$400 USD. $450+ for a 7950 is a fair deal seeing as it performs the same as the GTX 580 which is priced at $550+. But it's the transition period as @djpinc19 stated. New GPU's will come out and I'm going to throw my GTX 560 Ti out my window and burn it in a bonfire when I buy a GTX 6 series.
78xx is brand spanking new so ATI can price them at whatever point they like - but at the best pricepoint vs the current nVidia. Of course he could wait like 2 months + for the nVidia cards to come out so there would be more competition but tbh he'd only be saving around $20 at best maybe nothing at all. So waiting 2 months+ for $20 discount or so really isn't worth it.

Also of course the 7970 won't outperfom the 6990. It's a dual GPU vs single GPU. You want the AMD GPU line to double in processing power every generation? Rofl? And th 7990 will replace the 6990 outperforming it for those people who like the flex their ePeen with a GPU that they'll never stress more than 50%.

Well the 7950 completely owns the 580 pricepoint, so I'm pretty sure the 78xx series will win at every price point between $150-$300.

If you can upgrade to a 64 bit OS, that would initially help you get future proofed for a bit. As for running those titles, I'd get an EVGA GTX 560 Ti (On par with the 6970). You won't be disappointed. Unless you can't fork out around $229 for it, go witht he HD 6970 which is around $179 or cheaper.

You'll have to rebuild because you got yourself a crap ass 500W power supply and an AMD motherboard which will probably have no use in future gaming because AMD simply can't hold up in the high end market.
