Unreasonable Ban
So I got my friend to play maple again, he made a new account and played with it overnight but then he got dc'ed and when he tried to log in there was a message that popped up saying he was permanently banned for hacking which is weird 'cause he doesn't know how nor need to hack maple. So he made another account which ended up getting banned again. I checked his computer for background running programs but there was none and I made him close everything but maple, so our last attempt was to activate his past account and the end result was him getting permanently banned...again.
So we decided to send a ticket instead, any tips on what should write in it to convince nexon to lift a ban?

Damn , I hope this gets resolved soon and thanks for the info I was planning to play DS on my account so good thing I read your post first.

You sure it banned and not just disconnected?
Most of the times the autoban popup just disconnects you for "HACK" reason.
If he did get banned though, you could send a ticket and pray, otherwise make a new account.
Maybe you're the one who was duping on that ip.
