Maplestory Version
So I recently read a thread somewhere that says that if I live in 'x' country then I should play in the appropriate version of MS for my location(EMS/GMS/MSEA) and if I don't do that, my IP could get blocked.
I'm currently living in the Philippines and by that I should be playing in MSEA, but I've only played in GMS ever since I discovered Maplestory. Nothing bad has happened so far except for the temporary bans I get due to "fast" internet connection here. So any thoughts? and should I be worried? or am I just dumb for being concerned and posting this?

It's not really that, your IP is already be blocked if you aren't allowed to play on a certain server. People bypassing that restriction by using proxies and stuff have the potential to have their accounts banned.
Keep playing GMS.
