I just got back into the game and saw this migration thing so can you guys enlighten me?
As far as I could comprehend what the migration does are:
1.The billing, customer support and other player-focused services of EMS and GMS are being merge.
2.It'll also allow us to create characters for EMS or GMS servers.
3.Characters created in EMS will not be able to meet characters in GMS.
4.Make EMS and GMS have the same contents.
5.May or may not slow MS's less dead.

PS. I'd appreciate help with this one too, which world should I make a fresh start?(Scania and Reboot are my top choices also I'm gonna main a Bishop).

Yeah, pretty much that. Though if you played on EMS before, exclusive EMS items will be removed as a result of the merge.
If you don't want a pay-to-win experience, you're willing to farm for mesos and you're looking for the teamwork/cooperation aspect that is now missing from a lot of current MapleStory, play Reboot. Otherwise look for the more active servers like Scania.
