NL versus DB
Hello, I've been thinking about making a new character for fun, stuck between NL and DB, I've played NL before but never played a DB, how are they in terms of training and bossing compared to NL? I'm thinking about funding the new character only until it can solo hell gollux. Thanks in advance

I have never played any of these two characters as a Main character for specific reasons. However, I have trained both of them to about 15x and played them both for fun. I would say that while Dual Blade is flashier, Night Lord was easier to train at 4th Job. If you want to level up fairly easily and train this character into 20x or beyond, Night Lord is definitely going to be better than DB. I also find that if you want to Hellux, Night Lords are considerably better. I heard they are one of the best classes to solo Hellux with. Bossing is good with NL. DB is also good but the major downside is that you require heavier funds to do almost similar damage to a NL. I think with no funding, NL are better. If you want to fund like crazy, DB maybe better. I would try NL If you don;t like you can always switch to DB with open advancement.
