Sometimes, when the guild's not dead, I usually say gratz, gratz, or gartz. Just. Yeah.
Probably because you haven't hit the 220 let alone the 200 mark yet. It does feel like a pat on the back when someone gratz-es you at those levels just like it did for the levels you did back then.
Oh, no doubt. I can't even imagine the training at levels 2x. I was assuming they meant guildies well below that mark.
So, this new Maple? The Maple where I've hit 90 in less than a week, and hit 140 in a month? That "grats" means very, very little.
Let me tell you something.

I've been playing Maple for 7+ years. Know where the "grats" tradition comes from? It comes from a godly, hotly contested training spot yielding 20% per hour on 2x EXP. When I say hotly contested, I mean a Mapler coming in every 10-15 minutes, killing a few mobs, and if they figure you're too much trouble, they leave. That was the spot known as hoodoos / voodoos.

And himes. Oh, himes. I would get 1 level per 4 hour training session, if I was lucky. No breaks. The fun part of that map is a monster 60 levels above you would spawn in it randomly, and it was a flat map, so you were bound to hit it eventually. Doesn't matter if you had a priest (which was the norm...in fact, I was that priest), you wouldn't survive it at that level (100~120). You had to abandon your training spot, or hire someone to kill it.

So, this new Maple? The Maple where I've hit 90 in less than a week, and hit 140 in a month? That "grats" means very, very little.

level ups during levels 1-50: "grats until level 80. lol" cos otherwise I'd be saying grats every few minutes and that gets annoying.
regular level up: "grats"
level up to 200 (when 200 was cap): "grats on 200" -with @ spam
level up to 200 (after 250 cap) "grats until 250" as a joke, or "grats on 200! now go for 250."
