Can A Usb Drive Function as An External Hard Drive? I basically broke my hard drive that comes stock with my laptop, so I have to use ubuntu off the live cd ( i can't actually install it, i will get an error). So I'm wondering that if instead of spending $90 on a new hard drive, can I do the same thing with my USB drive? It's 4GB of memory, but I can go buy a larger one. TY and if so, how can i do it? I'm not extremely techy so yo may have to dumb it down for me. :/ P.S. I want windows 7
