Maplestory wont load after BlackCipher
Hello fellow basilers, I've been trying to get back on MS for about a week now. And I'm having some issue with MS and I want to see if any of you guys can give me some suggestions on how to fix this problem.
MS is up to date with the latest patch and my problem is when I tried to open MS through gamelauncher.exe, everything pops up (the first window pops up with the play button on the right bottom corner, Hackshield comes up and followed by BlackCipher). Right after BlackCipher is loaded, the game comes to a halt with an Error Report window with no error code.
Here what I've done so far: I've restarted the comp, I've re-downloaded the game about 10 times, I've tried to run the game through the website and steam and both gave me the same problem, I've checked to see if MS is running in the process, I've done all of the steps that is suggested from the Nexon website forum, I uninstalled all registry/virus/malware/ protection programs, I've tried enabling/disabling Windows Firewall, last but not least, I've sent Nexon a ticket of my problem and all of it failed.
And I've also updated my graphic card to the latest version.
I'm currently running on Windows 8 if that helps.

The computer came with windows 8 when I bought it, and to be honest, windows 8 is kind of nice once you get to know it, the only major flaw it has is the compatibility issues that it has... :S
@Freakazoid I'll check the devices if they need any updating right now.
Update: I've updated every device, yet it still doesn't work

Windows 8 has problems with MapleStory constantly. Heck, Windows 8 has many problems with a number of games.

I prefer playing the normal maplestory rather than [b]P[/b]izza [b]S[/b]lice, That's why I've done a craplot of stuff in order to be able to play the original maple, I should maybe wait out until they release Hayato, and then try to re-download maple, hoping that they've fixed this issue... even though the chances are slim.
