Maplestory constantly refreshes

So I've posted a bunch of threadsw before, here goes another:

So recently maple has been lagging, not just boring old lag, but a specific, timed lag, like clockwork. Every 5 seconds my screen freezes for a second or so. As you can guess, this gets pretty annoying. What I've come to figure it out is that it is constantly refreshing the screen every 5 seconds. I've tried going into setup and changing the settings, tried reinstalling, launching from my folder instead of the site, nothing has worked. And it's not my specs; They're very much past anything maple can throw at them.

So, can anyone help? I'm running win7 if that helps. Thanks~
