If I really can`t get my hands on an Axe I`ll have to go for the sword, but Axes are alot more cheaper which is why I`d go for it.
Did you want a 2H mace at all?

I saw a Terminus 1H in Khaini selling, I`m leaning more towards a 2H Axe however.
