shade naturally has good passives like boss dmg and such, no buffs so you're not stuck buffing every death or w/e and gear is a lot cheaper.
@bossboss: shade due to faster attacks and soul split. soul split with a shade basically guarantess 4 atts in 1 att. btw on vellum for shades if you soul split him the only frame where you can hit vellum is on his face so if you jump and use spirit claw you can still hit him even while hes underground.
