Opinions for Banner Contest

I need some opinions for a banner contest, and I still have a few hours before the dateline. First one is mine, and the second is someone previewing theres. I'll admit the other person's entry looks really good. Better than mine, in my opinion.

No need to worry about size because the host of the contest will scale the image into banner size
