How to download a bunch of Youtube videos? I rather not install a program, so I did some searching and used Firefox's BYTubeD to generate a list of video links. Then I used FlashGot along with DownThemAll (download manager) to download the list of Youtube videos. Many of them had 403 errors, and only a few actually downloaded. Previously, I use Video Downloadhelper, but using that, I had to actually go on the specific Youtube video link and click download, then go back to my list of Youtube videos and repeat. I'm talking ~120 videos, not including 1.2k + in my Favorites. I've googled the DownThemAll 403 errors, but couldn't find a fix and many of the posts about the same problem were ~5-7 years ago. Thanks.

Browser Questions Cookies, Cache, Firefox, Chrome Should I delete cookies if I want a fast browsing experience? When would I want to delete it? When wouldn't I? Also, what is cache? And right now, I use both Firefox and Chrome. Benchmarks seem to show that the current version of Chrome is faster than the current version of Firefox, but to be honest, I cannot feel much of a difference. Anyway, I stick to Chrome because it's supposedly faster, but I use Firefox because it has greater add-on support. Video DownloadHelper on Firefox lets me download videos from YouTube and own3d.tv. Adblock Plus works better on Firefox because it can block ads during streams on own3d.tv, whereas it can't on Chrome. I have multiple tabs open for both browsers an

Slow browsers--hardware bottleneck? I have 2 browsers always running--Firefox with 60 tabs opened maximum (only ~10 loaded/running tabs at a time based on Firefox's "don't load tab" feature) and Chrome with ~50 tabs opened maximum. Closing/opening/refreshing tabs on Chrome seems to be unaffected by the # of tabs opened and is pretty snappy. Doing the same on Firefox would result in freezes that would last anywhere from 5 seconds to minutes. I haven't checked how much memory total both uses, but I seem to recall Firefox using at least 1.2 GB of RAM (it grew and grew when I loaded/ran all the tabs until the computer was extremely sluggish so I had to close it and load back to only 10 tabs, and even then, it was slightly slower than

Netbeans How to create only a .java and .class file? I know that this is an obscure question to ask but I tried creating a thread on the Netbeans forum and got an error whenever I try to submit a question. Basically, I'm learning Java and use an IDE called JGrasp on campus. I used to use Netbeans and prefer to use Netbeans. When I write a basic program on JGrasp, it only has 2 files for it to run: a .java file and a .class file. On Netbeans, it seems that I have to create an entire "project" for each basic program I write. What exactly are these "projects" and can I simply get Netbeans to spit out only the .java and .class file that is necessary for my purposes? Also, as a result of creating a project, some lines of code

Trying to find cause of high ping in games For the last 2 weeks, my ping has been fluctuating to great extents. I normally have a ping of ~80-90 (seems the be the lowest and what I would get every time I "reset" the router; now I can go from 115ish all the way to 450ish, and at rare times, it goes back to 90ish. The reason why I quoted "reset" is because now, when I reset the router via pressing a holding a button behind the router, it would not let me create a new password to access the router settings (I don't know the new password--it's my roommate's) and therefore, I assume the settings did not actually reset, even though the internet was out for a moment and returned after pressing the reset button. Could my roommat

App to password-protect running programs or opening files? I use Truecrypt to encrypt my data, but I want to know what application I can use password-protect applications like Google Chrome or iTunes for privacy and so that people won't mess around with my data. I've googled some but they weren't popular at all (usually just made by some inexperienced programmer) and did not offer great encryption method. Any app that does what I want securely such that even a tech-savvy person wouldn't be able to circumvent me blocking the executable files?

How to reduce ping applications may use So I realized that my random ping spikes came from whenever my sister played Maplestory (which surprised me because I use Verizon FiOS). The ping can be felt whenever I played League of Legends--my ping from jump from a constant ~90 ping to ~200-400 ping (at which point it's unplayable). Is there something I can do that could control how much bandwidth Maplestory (or her laptop) can utilize so that my ping isn't drastically affected? Thanks.

How to delete quotPUP.Optional.Babylon.A malwarequot? Normally I wouldn't need to post something like this, but I've googled and tried multiple ways to get rid of this. Every day Malwarebytes would warn me about "PUP.Optional.Babylon.A." I would quarantine it, but it would still detect it again. It is from the location C:UsersNameAppDataLocalGoogleChromeUser DataDefaultPreferences. I know that I got this malware from an "OpenCandy" after I installed an application (SUPER video converter) and was able to delete all other traces (it was removed from AppDataLocalFirefox, etc.), but not Google. Only uninstalling Chrome did Malwarebytes not report anything. As soon as I reinstalled it and made sure my short list of extensions

Reformatted computer, shrank C drive, cannot extend D drive Here's the problem: every time I reformat (and I don't do it for this reason nor do I do it frequently), my drive that I prefer to be D drive would be E drive by default and the E drive would be D drive. The drive that I prefer to be on the D drive (which is E by default) is on the same physical hard drive as my C drive, while my drive that I prefer to be on E drive (which is D by default) is a separate drive. I would then switch the letter names to fit what I want my drives to be. I want to extend the now D drive with the space from C drive, but it does not give me the option to extend (even though I could shrink the C drive). I could only extend the now E drive. When I reformatte
