Compensation for numerous recent server disruptions n RB

How do ppl want to see Nexon compensate players for the recent service outages and the latest roll-back? IMO extending cash shop items by 24 hrs doesnt cut it anymore... we have had several unscheduled maintenances in the last couple weeks (remember President's Day/Family Day - no service almost ALL day) and now a roll-back. What do u guys want to see done?

Anyone that demands/expects "compensation" for their lost playing time has a seriously overblown sense of self-entitlement.

It's a game- a leisure activity. They took care of any monetary losses by properly extending cash shop items.

Any loss of enjoyment can be easily overcome by going outside, playing with friends, doing anything else fun. In other words- that's not Nexon's problem. No amont of "compensation" can fix a serious lack of perspective. For those people they accommodated them by giving everyone 2X to "make up for" any lost playing time. That seems more than adequate. It's not like anyone truly lost anything worthy of 'compensating'.

Well, it was fair that we're getting 2x. Everyone is going on about how they don't owe us any compensation because it's a free game but, how about the people who trained after the maintenance and before the rollback? How are you going to compensate for the hours of our life that we ended up having nothing to show for? Obviously by giving us 2x EXP. Then we can train like we'd normally do, while getting the EXP that we lost back.

So, you'd rather have a broken game over no compensation? Anyways, greed will corrupt your savvy mind. And wasn't the president's day thing because of a power outage? Nexon shouldn't have to compensate acts of god. But they did, giving you 2x. Also, should't 2x be good enough? They aren't obligated to give us maplepoints every single freaking time they fix the game. I'm happy as it is.

It's funny to see everyone acting like "They don't need to compensate us". Listen, maybe you guys are trying to be the "Kids who don't ask for christmas gifts but secretly want them", maybe you aren't. It's just what business's do to show they are sorry for letting something go wrong in the first place. Doesn't matter if they fix it or not, the fact is, it happened. Nexon is a business just like Wendy's or Taco Bell, and when something goes wrong, even if they can't help it, they SHOULD be compensating their users.[/quote]

While I agree with you on some points, do you honestly think those people that give his or her business to Nexon are going to quit over the inability to play for ONE day?
This is a free game and the only people that whine about it are the ones that want as much for as little as they can. I bet you the TS didn't even play during the hours they were having a SC.

Greedy little pug. Be grateful that the RB even happened. Guess what would've happened if they didn't. A Total economy crash for maplestory. Meso would become worthless and items would be set at ridiculous prices. Can you imagine a 100+m generated within 1 hour that everybody could do without hacks and such. Why would they need to give you anything? They extended and refunded most items that happened. You don't deserve a thing.

Maybe 2 hour 2x exp cards for everyone that was logged on at the time of the rollback? My dawn warrior went down 8 levels wich was a pain in the ass to lose. But yeah I agree with everyone else we should be thankfull too that nexon fixed the glitch this fast.

Well, they already gave us 2x for a little while because of the downtime before. Maybe they'll give us something for the rollback, maybe not. It's nabd.

Nothing. All I did was log in during that time. Didn't train or anything because I knew people were abusing the exploit and a rollback was imminent.

yeah...honestly, you b/c you had unscheduled maintenance and couldnt play doesnt mean they owe you anything, when, during those maintenance, theyre working to make the game fair for people like YOU. stop complaining. stop being greedy. be thankful, and save your iratation for when they REALLY screw up
